...for the encouragement you gave me today through a non-christian colleague.

It is a relief to know I am not a disgrace to you at my workplace and a motivation to know that You, who are unseen, work through the lives of Your children to minister to even those who do not know You. Thank You that when we strive to obey you, even though sometimes we fail, You still choose to use us. I pray You will open the eyes of this colleague to see that it is not about me or this other colleague she chooses to find solace in, but about Who we believe in and Who works in us, so that we are able to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

May You continue to bless our friendship. Help my christian colleagues and I to continue to be the salt of the earth and light of the world, to be mindful that what we say and do in front of others have a bearing on how others see You. May we point to You and not ourselves. Amen.
