Pray...

Dad's been discharged. On mc now but he's been going to work anyway to clear some stuff. Today he decided to stay home cos his arm was hurting again. Painkillers make him drowsy. His op is scheduled for the 22nd of this month. They're going to insert an artifical disc because his vertebrae is wearing out with time. Pls pray for the impending op...for skilful hands on the doctor's part, and relief from the pain...thanks.

Dear Lord, You know all things and all things happen according to Your great purposes. You deal with us in ways that we really do not deserve, for Your grace is greater than all our sin.

Father, I commit to you the matter of the operation that Jasmine's dad will be undergoing on the 22nd of March. I pray that as the day draws near, that You will reassure Mr Chuah that You are watching over him and that Your presence is with him.

I pray for the surgeon, that he will be able to carry out the procedure with no complications, that the operation will proceed smoothly, that all the surgeon's assistants will do their part well.

I pray for the time of recovery that Mr Chuah will go thru after the operation. May You grant him healing and relief from physical pain. And may You help his family to be a source of care and support in that time.

Lord, if You will, grant it that Mr Chuah will be able to regain the quality of life that he had before his injury. May he be able to testify to Your faithfulness and Your power to heal.

You know all things O Lord. So we commit all these things into Your loving hands, trusting in Your will for our lives.

This we pray, in Jesus' name, Amen.
